About

About the PonyBuy buying guide

PonyBuy Spreadsheet Find covers a single part of buying from Chinese marketplaces: getting to the right listing and choosing correctly once you are there. It is written and maintained by the PonyBuy Spreadsheet Find editorial desk.

We are a partner of PonyBuy. Links from this site to ponybuy.com are partner links, and if you sign up through one we may be paid. That is how the guide funds itself, and we would rather write it in the first paragraph than in a footer.

What that does not buy: any change to what is written here. This site quotes the official disclaimer about third party goods, says plainly when a size chart is inadequate, and lists three cases where you should not use an agent at all.

What we can and cannot do

Worth being blunt about, because the site name contains a brand.

We can

Explain how the search and the listing page work

Every claim here is either visible in a screenshot we took or quoted from an official page, with the date we read it.

We can

Fix an error on this site quickly

Email us and it gets corrected, with the change dated on the updates page.

We cannot

See, change, cancel or refund your order

We have no access to any PonyBuy account, including yours. For anything about an order, use order enquiry or the help centre.

Which channel to use

We cannot

Promise anything about quality or delivery

Neither can the agent, and its own disclaimer says so. Any guide that offers you a guarantee is offering something it does not control.

How this site is written

Sources before sentences. The official pages were read and screenshotted before anything was written. Where the official site contradicts itself, both readings are given rather than the one that reads better.

No invented numbers. Prices, freight rates, delivery times, fees and policies are set by other people and move. Where a figure appears it is attributed and dated, and it never appears in a title or a heading.

Screenshots are labelled. Amounts visible in official screenshots are the operator own sample values, and every caption carrying money says so.

Written by people. Drafting tools were used in production, and every fact was checked against a source by a person before publication. Nothing here is a machine summary of somebody else guide.

Sister guides

Other guides in our network cover judging a find and the full ordering flow. This one deliberately stops at the listing page.
